Greg Garay

Greg Garay is the youngest of five boys, a husband of 27 years, father of two amazing children, and educator. He accepted the Lord as his Lord and Savior at an early teenage year of 13. In his early years, music played a vital role in his life. He was a member of the East Harlem Boys Choir, directed local, church and regional choirs, was a member of several traveling vocal ensembles, and worship leader at local churches.

He currently serves as a member of a prophetic worship team in his local church. Greg also serves as a member of the prophetic team and, along with his wife, they are the marriage ministry leaders for Remnant of Eden, a ministry at their local church. He and his wife are XO certified marriage mediators for their ministry called Love Covers.

His educational background consists of a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics, Masters of Business Administration and a completed doctoral program in Business Administration with emphasis in management, organizational leadership and international business.

Jannalee Garay

Jannalee Garay is a wife, mom, educator and counselor but her greatest honor is being an intercessor. Growing up in church all of her life and being born and raised into a pastoral household, from an early age she developed a love for God and ministry.

She has ministered as a worship leader and singer in many facets of ministry. She has always been fascinated with education and has been able to teach and develop others in their walk with the Lord through Biblical studies.

Currently she serves in the Prophetic Ministry of her church. She and her husband Greg also serve as the marriage ministers of Remnant Of Eden at The Life Center Ministries in Sandy Springs, Georgia.

She has a Bachelor’s degree in Education, a Master’s degree in Mental Health and a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership. She is currently a doctoral candidate for Marriage and Family Therapy. She is a professional counselor and works with middle school adolescents.

Excited and grateful about what the Lord has done in her marriage, she and Greg decided to share the Mercy and Grace of God through their ministry called Love Covers. Whereas XO Marriage certified mediators and mentors they coach married couples into understanding how to do marriage God’s way.

Purpose

The Love Covers marriage ministry, based on 1 Peter 4:8, aims to promote deep, unconditional love among couples, emphasizing forgiveness and healing in relationships. It seeks to strengthen marriages through education, support, and community, helping couples navigate challenges and reflect God's love in their partnerships.

Vision

To create a transformative community where couples experience the power of unconditional love, fostering strong, resilient marriages that reflect Christ's love and grace.

Mission

To equip and empower couples through biblical teachings, practical resources, and supportive relationships, helping them cultivate deep love, forgiveness, and effective communication in their marriages, ultimately nurturing a thriving community of Christ-centered relationships.

Our Story

This ministry was born out of a dark season. Greg and Janna were happily married for many years, but a sudden twist changed all of that. Unknowingly, there were open doors in their lives that the enemy used to infiltrate their marriage. Open doors such as generational curses, unaddressed traumas, covenants, word curses, altars, Santeria (witchcraft) and shattered souls that were never addressed nor torn down.

The enemy took advantage of their ignorance and proceeded to destroy their marriage.

“My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.” (Hosea 4:6 NIV).

With the unaddressed opened doors of incest, rape, and abuse from his childhood, Greg found himself battling with his identity. His shattered soul and pride did not allow him to share with others the sexual abuse he had undergone as a child.

The absence of accountability caused the enemy to take advantage of him. Instead of turning to God or his wife, he eventually fell into a life of same sex attraction. He lived a double life for several years that almost led to the demise of a beautiful marriage and family altogether.

Janna and their two beautiful children were devastated when Greg confessed to his unfaithfulness and lifestyle. However, it took the hand of God at work to heal, restore, and repair what the enemy set out to destroy. It was not an easy process for the family, but Janna sought God.

In a battle to leave or stay in her marriage, Janna heard God’s voice clear to her. “Stay,” He said, “I will heal you, and use this testimony for my glory!” She did not understand. She had the right to walk away. Divorce was knocking at her door. Move on and start again. But God had given her a directive. She had a choice to be obedient to His voice or move on with her life. She chose to obey Him and stayed in the marriage.

Through this season of obedience, she learned the life of an intercessor. Janna decided to trust God. She learned how to really pray and get results. It was a time of crushing and deep intercession. Her intimacy with the Lord became her life source. The Holy Spirit became her best friend. He carried her through “The Darkest Hour of Her Soul.”

This was also the time the Lord started teaching her about Deliverance.

“…, But through knowledge the righteous will be delivered.” (Proverbs 11:9 NKJV)

She shared what God was teaching her with all her family. She was determined to seek deliverance for herself, her children, and Greg. Through much seeking of the Lord, intercession, counseling sessions, therapy, and education the Garay family was brought to a place of total healing.

Greg turned away from his sinful lifestyle and Janna forgave him. As a result, there was reconciliation and restoration of their marriage and family. Generational curses and word curses were broken, covenants were destroyed, altars were brought down. Greg dealt with his shattered soul, repented, and started his process of deliverance.

God healed their marriage and brought them back to wholeness. Through their healing process, God has brought their marriage to an even better place than it was before. Their love has grown, and they have been elevated to another place in God.

As they realized that this is not the norm, they acknowledged that there was a greater purpose for their suffering. God had a greater plan. They understood that what the enemy tried to use to destroy them, God was going to use for good and for the salvation of many. Their suffering would not go to waste.

“You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.” (Genesis 50:20 NLT).

They do not want this miracle kept hidden, but by coming forth, be a demonstration to the world that they have overcome by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony.

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” (Revelation 12:11 NKJV).

Their mission is to lift the name of Jesus so that it will draw all men unto Him.

“And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.” (John 12:32 NIV).

Many marriages are suffering from infidelity and same sex attraction and keep silent. Greg and Janna’s mission is to give a voice to those that have suffered similar afflictions. To bring those that have struggled with same sex attraction in marriage out of their shame and bring them into the light of the healing power of Jesus. To help them understand that there is nothing impossible for Him including same sex attraction! Jesus also died on the cross to carry the shame and the pain that comes from this sin.

Greg and Janna want to be a resource where healing can come into marriages that are dealing with this. They want to be able to intervene and stand in the gap for those that no longer have hope. They stand as a living testimony, that there is still hope for a marriage that has dealt with infidelity and same sex attraction.

There is Hope in Jesus, and He teaches us how to be set free and delivered from demons in the bloodline brought by generational curses, word curses, evil covenants, altars, shattered souls and Santeria (witchcraft). Jesus carried it all on the cross of Calvary. Their experience is an example that through the blood anything is possible.

Greg and Janna are the demonstration of hope in a marriage. They have the know-how and the experience of what the Lord can do in a marriage that surrenders all to Him. They understand that they have been chosen for such a time as this, for if they remain silent the enemy will continue to wreak havoc on families. The decision to come forth, arise, and be the voice that will bring relief and deliverance to a people is the mandate for this ministry

“For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, … Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” (Esther 4:14 NKJV).

Now that they have the knowledge and have been brought through deliverance, they want to be able to share it with those that need it as well.
